Our Craft
Every thread has a reason.
Fabric Philosophy
We choose fabric the way you choose a house — for the long term.
Most brands start with a price point and work backwards to find fabric that fits. We start with the performance specification we want — how a shirt should feel after ten washes, how a polo should hold its shape after a year — and work forward to find fabric that delivers it.
We source exclusively from mills in India. Gujarat for woven cotton, Tamil Nadu for jersey knits. We visit them. We run our own wash tests. We reject batches that do not meet our specifications, even when it costs us time and money.
The result is clothing that does not just look good on the rack — it looks and feels the same a year into ownership.

Material Standards
Specified. Not approximated.
Oxford Weave Shirt Fabric
100% Combed Cotton, 120 GSM, 80-count 2/1 weave
The basket-like texture of Oxford weave provides subtle visual interest while maintaining enough structure for a collar and cuff. At 120 GSM, it is light enough for Mumbai humidity but substantial enough to drape properly.
Piqué Polo Fabric
100% Cotton Piqué, 220 GSM, self-fabric collar
Piqué is the only acceptable weave for a polo. The textured surface holds its shape through repeated washing, breathes better than smooth jersey, and looks progressively more considered as it wears in.
Crew Neck Jersey Fabric
Ring-spun Combed Cotton, 240 GSM, side seam construction
Ring-spun cotton produces a finer, stronger yarn than open-end spinning. At 240 GSM, the fabric has enough body to look structured rather than flimsy. Side seams prevent the twisted seam problem that plagues tubular-knit tees.
The Process
From concept to your wardrobe.
Design & Specification
We begin with a detailed tech pack: measurements for each size, fabric spec, construction methods, trims list, and stitch density requirements. Nothing ambiguous.
Sampling & Approval
Three rounds of samples: proto, fit, and pre-production. We physically receive and inspect each. The pre-production sample must match the approved spec exactly before production begins.
Quality Inspection
An independent QC visit during production and a Top of Production (TOP) sample pulled from the first batch. We check measurements, colour fastness, shrinkage after three washes, and seam integrity.
Pack & Ship
Each garment is pressed, inspected individually, and packed in acid-free tissue inside our kraft box. No piece leaves our warehouse with a defect.
Care Guide
How to make it last.
All Reeves garments come with a printed care card. Cotton performs best washed at lower temperatures and air dried — the tumble dryer is the enemy of fabric longevity.
